My Prediction on the FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa

The FIFA World Cup 2010 will be the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international football tournament. Eveyone will gone crazy during this month period!! World Cup footbal fever!! It is scheduled for one month period between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa.

This will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation, after South Africa beat Morocco and Egypt in an all-African bidding process. This decision left the Oceania Football Confederation as the only confederation yet to host the FIFA World Cup.

Mascot : Zakumi

Zakumi is a leopard, a common animal found in South Africa, with green hair wearing a shirt saying South Africa 2010. Zakumi’s green and gold colors represents South African national sports’ teams colors. His name comes from “ZA”, the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code for South Africa, and “kumi”, a word that means “ten” in various African languages.
