The new Emporio Armani underwear line released on February 2008 features ads by the gorgeously sexy David Beckham. In the first day alone, stores running the David Beckham underwear advertisement have reported a rise in sales about 150%. It seems fans and possible stalkers are rushing to the stores in hordes just to see David Beckham up close on the larger-sized advertisements.
David Walker Smith, manager of menswear at Selfridges, the London store where the ads were launched, says, “David is still Britain’s number one male icon”. The combination of a semi-naked David Beckham and a new style of Emporio Armani underwear is a golden match.”

The ad was unveiled at Macy’s in San Francisco. The new David Beckham Emporio Armani Underwear Ad were shot in Malibu Beach California by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The Autumn/Winter 2008 Emporio Armani Underwear Ad sport, fashion and lifestyle magazines and on signature billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.
