Went to Authentic Spanish Restaurant to celebrate 999 day.. Haha. What is so with this day that everyone talk about? some are getting marry on 999? what i know is 999 is a emergency no. for most of the country used in Commonwealth countries. no doubt, i still celebrate it with this special occasion as rarely in the calendar you find 999. you have to wait for another 90 year to celebrate one with 9 September 2099. which even more special 9999. i think 1999 is the most special, you will get it 99999.
After back from my work, went to treat myself and my loved one with something special .

Baked “Escargots” (Cabrillas y Caracoles)
Snails, gratinated with herb butter in the oven.

Tapas consisted of Gratinated Eggplant (Berenjenas Gratinadas) & Shrimps & Mussels Croquette (Tigres)

Negres
Spanish rice cooked in black ink squid, large prawns, shrimps, fish fillet, squid, mussels, clams & vegetables. Exquisite taste in seafood!
“Paella Negres” which one of the speciality in this restaurant and it cooked with squid ink that why you see in black colour. When you see it, it look very yucky.. when you taste it really taste greaty. Here, they cooked the rice just right with taste and texture and best part of it, they have a nice layer of crust underneath.
Last not forget , special dessert that the Restaurant Manager treat us.. and it not in the menu.

The food was very good and the staff and the environment only made it an even better place with this cozy restaurant.

Check it out my Cooking Class – Western Cuisine?

Have you eaten at Tenji before? I am sure you do right.. it like hot topic and everyone is talking about it. “Tenji” is actually a combination of 2 Chinese words – “tien”, meaning heaven and “ji”, meaning royal gift. “Tenji” is also the name of a noble emperor who saved Japan from slavery and codified Japanese law. Tenji Japanese Buffet Restaurant aims to offer food lovers more than the usual common sushi, sashimi or teppanyaki.
Tenji is most probably the largest japanese buffet in South East Asia and can fit 450 people. Here is some of the outdoor photo of the interior.

Down on the Farm Burger

Avocado & Bacon Burger
if you are burger lovers, you may want to try this “The Daily Grind”, it so juicy and fresh. Each beef patty contains 180g of pure meat bound together with fresh eggs. Individually weighed, the patties are then moulded into shape and left to rest and chill. beside that, they make their own sauces and pickles. Me and Toto have spend a great breakfast at this restaurant for about RM100+. it consider very expensive breakfast. Wait you try this out, it actually worth while as you will not want to eat other burger anymore.. this is consider 2nd favorite list burger after MOS Burger. i am still missing MOS Burger. i feel like going to Singapore to eat the MOS Burger. i can’t get it in Malaysia.. The Daily Grind (TDG) will be my alternative selection ..
